Plastic Clever Round Up Video
Our Eco Committee put a video together to explain what we have done in our Plastic Clever journey and what our next steps will be as a school.
Campaign Photos
We have added a plastic swaps section to our eco display board, this is to try and encourage people to move away from using plastic for a more sustainable material e.g. a bamboo toothbrush instead of a plastic one.

We have put plastic recycling bins into every room in our school. We have used old containers to reuse them for our bins and we have decorated them with posters informing people what they can put in the bin.
Our Plastic Promises
Our Eco-committee have all made promises on behalf of their classmates to help fight against plastic.
PCS Assembly
Our Eco-Committee hosted a whole school assembly to tell people all about our Plastic Clever Schools mission and what we hope to achieve. Every member of the committee spoke, even our two Year 2 committee members! The audience were great and interacted with the questions the committee asked.
Roker Beach Clean
Our Eco Committee joined up with the Sunderland EGS (Environmental, Green and Sustainable) group at our local beach and took part in a beach clean and survey. We surveyed a 100m stretch of beach and recorded all of the litter we found there.
