Summary of audit
Here are the results of the audit.
We looked at what the children were bringing into lunch as we’d already identified this as the main source of plastic coming into the school.
This data was then broken down by the children’s house. We’ll be using the baseline data as part of our campaign to reduce single use plastic coming into the school.
On average, we have 2.5 items of plastic in every child’s lunchbox. We’ll see if we can drive that down.
