Year 4 litter pick for Ali’s 1 in a million

Year 4 carried out a litter pick of our school grounds and logged all the different ypes of plastic litter found as well as noting other types of litter too on the Kids Against Plastic’s app to go towards Ali’s 1 in a million campaign. Overall 65 people took part and between us we discovered 588 bits of litter ! We then shared our findings with the whole school community in a newsletter and on our WEDUC media site.

As part of our learning we have explored the impact of plastics on the environment and then each child made a pledge as to how they can act to reduce plastic pollution. This was also share with the whole school community in the weekly newsletter and on our school media platform (WEDUC) We also created a school display
