We became creative! We decided to use the plastic and make something out of it. Using plastic bottles and yogurt containers we started making ornaments. Christmas bells…
Christmas bells
On day 1 we glued the plastic and covered it with clay! It had to dry for a day or 2. Then, all we had to do is paint them!
We thought it would be better not to compete to each other but use the plastic and make something out of it. Recycling in any way!
Collecting and observing
After going out of our school we collected trash and we noticed that eventhough our school yard seemed clean…it wasn’t so. And there were too many plastic bottles around. Then we went around the classrooms and other rooms and wrote down all kinds of plastic we use at school!
Students’ conference
Our actions begun by talking at first about plastic in our everyday life. We watched the video and then we thought and discussed about: “What can I do to avoid using plastic in my life?”.
