Litter Pick Challenge
- Posted on: December 6, 2021
Following the School Council’s assembly they set the whole school a challenge. Our school is situated in a rural setting and, luckily, litter pollution is minimal. We also don’t have safe pavements around the school and community that we can use to carry out a local litter pick.
The School Council have set the whole school the task of carrying out a litter pick in their local area between now and January. Children have been asked to upload images of their litter pick to Seesaw (our communication app) for the School Council to review and share.
Plastic Clever Assembly
- Posted on: December 6, 2021
Following a number of meetings between the School Council and the Headteacher (Mrs Martin), the pupils were ready to share their findings and ideas with the rest of the school.
They showed some videos of the effect plastic pollution is having on the world as well as a short video by Sir David Attenborough sharing what we can do to help.
The School Council then shared some of the positive things that we do already along with their ideas on how we can help further.
