- We invited the author of the book “Α sea of plastics” and learned more about plastic.
- We looked for plastics outside our school.
- We made posters to make everyone aware of environmental protection.

Moving forward with our actions, our school, in collaboration
with Helmepa, adopted a Marathon beach this year by joining the
"Waste Observation Program" for 3 years.
Going and cleaning this beach for the first time, we were
particularly impressed by the number of plastics we found.
2. Then we made posters to inform and activate others.
Time to act
Investigating the spaces in and around our school, we found a lot of plastic. It was time to take action. We split into groups and with gloves and bags we collected the plastics and put them in recycling bins.
We used some of them to turn them into works of art. Our work will not stop here. The more we observe and learn, the more proactive we become to protect the environment we live in.

1.We attended the school assembly.
2.We did a survey on the plastics used in our school
Getting inspired
Being ispired from the theme we wrote poems and composed a song with one of them. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
