Pastida’s Kindergarten Why we are becoming a plastic clever school
- Posted on: January 10, 2025
Our students explain why we want to become a “Plastic Clever School”.
“From Yard to Sea: A Hands-On Lesson in Plastic Cleanup”
- Posted on: January 10, 2025
Our school organized a plastic collection event, not only in the yard and the surrounding area, but also in the classroom, where a small “sea” was created.
The students then cleaned the sea of the “plastics” they had placed, mimicking the cleanup of real-world oceans.
This activity helped them realize the seriousness of the plastic pollution problem and taught them that with small actions, they can save animals and protect the environment.
“Protecting nature: nature: Tackling plastic pollution”
- Posted on: January 10, 2025
The children attended presentations and read stories that highlighted the impact of plastics on the Earth and marine ecosystems, negatively affecting animals and habitats.
They learned about the dangers of pollution and reflected on questions such as: “How do plastics end up in the sea?“, “How can we protect the animals?”, and “How can we reduce plastic use?“. Through discussions, they developed ideas about recycling, reducing single-use plastics, and using environmentally friendly materials, fostering their ecological awareness.
