only reusable bottles allowed, Reuse pens or use them for art projects, Make use of recycling stations
- Posted on: July 3, 2024
At Peponi House, we have implemented several initiatives to promote sustainability. Only reusable bottles are allowed on campus to minimise plastic waste.
We encourage the reuse of pens, repurposing them for art projects or design technology classes.
Additionally, we have established recycling stations, successfully petitioned by students with 401 signatures, where waste from both the school and individual homes can be properly recycled.
Through various campaigns, including a petition to chocolate factories to reduce plastic wrappers and a successful clothes swap event on Earth Day, we strive to become a plastic-clever school.
We hope to do away with plastic bottles that bring milk in the staff rooms in the near future
