Action Plan 2
The pupils decided to act against plastic bottles and single-use plastic bags.
Our Plastic Clever Schools Poster
The pupils created a poster about how we can recycle and upcycle single use plastic rubbish with the plastic caps we collect at school (later, we offer the plastic caps to institutions to buy a wheelchair for disabled children).
Our Drawings
Our pupils got inspired and created drawings about saving our planet from plastic rubbish for a better and cleaner future!
Our Plastic Clever Schools Audit
The pupils of 5th grade investigated about single use plastics in all school spaces (classrooms, office, kitchen, toilets, yard, school lunch boxes). The results showed that we need to change some of our habits and items (e.g. the use of stickers for incentive and reward).
Investigating
Pupils of 5th grade go around the classrooms, office, yard and the other school rooms, question pupils and teachers and write down the single use plastics. They also inform the other pupils of their action and the harmful effects of plastic pollution (microplastics in the seas).
Litter-picking activity
The pupils of the Primary School of Pamfila, Lesvos went litter-picking in the school yard (22-11-2024- they used all necessary sanitary measures ). They were really sceptical about the single use plastics they collected.
PCS Assembly
The pupils of the 5th grade of the Primary School of Pamfila, Lesvos, Greece had an assembly with their Class teacher and the English teacher and were informed about the plastic pollution and action we would do. They watched a relevant video by PCS , did the PCS Assembly quiz and voted for the Team Name.
