Attached is evidence from Orchard Fields Primary school. The Eco Council completed a school litter pick, picking up a range of plastic from each area of the school grounds. Each child was meticulous within their approach to ensure that each piece of plastic was recovered.
Next, the Eco Council engaged in a discussion about the importance of becoming a plastic friendly school. The children were extremely knowledge about the impact of plastic on our community, both locally and worldwide, and generated positive suggestions as to how we could reduce our plastic consumption. As a result of this discussion, the children collectively made a pledge. This has been uploaded as an audio due to safeguarding the children in the video.
Finally, a wonderful assembly was delivered to the whole school. The eco council engaged via answering questions. The whole school left the assembly feeling more confident on how to become a plastic clever school.
