At our school, we launched a campaign with our 2nd and 3rd grade students to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic use and to encourage the replacement of single-use plastics with reusable items.
As part of this initiative, the children created handmade posters that were displayed throughout the school to spread the message. The whole school community was invited to join a special celebration, where students and parents came together to share songs and informative messages about protecting the environment.
What made the event even more meaningful was that all songs and presentations were also performed in sign language, ensuring inclusivity and helping spread our message of love and respect for nature even further.
