Some of our Eco Councillors conducted the survey. For some items, they had to estimate how many the school use daily (e.g. soap bottles). We were pleased to find that we don't use many single-use plastic items in the kitchen, thanks to our Eco Schools work this year. Now that we have completed the audit, we have identified where we can make improvements as a school. The individual milk cartons used in reception are our biggest issue, but this is difficult for us to change. We will investigate! Our second most used single-use plastic in school is glue sticks. We are looking at how we can reduce the usage.
